Gold drill results caught the attention of more than a few gold explorer speculators Tuesday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 (as of 4 pm EST):
Aurelius Minerals Inc. (TSXV:AUL) shares shot up 57% to $0.055 on Tuesday after the gold explorer announced assay results from three additional holes from the recently-completed 17-hole (3,923 metre) Phase Two drilling program at its Mikwam Property in Ontario’s Abitibi Greenstone Belt, which included 7.1 grams per tonne (g/t) gold over 26.1 metres.
As well, shares of Trevali Mining Corporation (TSX:TV) slid 18% to $0.52 as the zinc miner said it has downgraded its 2018 production guidance for the Caribou mine due to challenging rock mass conditions.
Symbility Solutions Inc. (TSXV:SY), meanwhile, reported that it has agreed to be acquired by CoreLogic, Inc. (NYSE:CLGX) for C$0.615 per share in cash. Symbility Solutions stock popped 23% to $0.60 following the announcement.
Finally, Correvio Pharma Corp. (TSX:CORV) shares jumped 25% to $5.09 after the specialty pharmaceutical company announced that, based on productive pre-NDA discussions with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), it plans to resubmit the Brinavess (vernakalant hydrochloride, IV) New Drug Application during the second quarter of 2019.
