Recovery of micro-diamonds Down Under was good news for shareholders of a diamond explorer Tuesday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 (as of 4 pm EST):
Lithoquest Diamonds Inc. (TSXV:LDI) shares continued to move higher Tuesday, up as much as 15% before ending unchanged at $0.60. On Monday, LDI shares surged 150% after the diamond explorer announced that micro-diamonds have been recovered from a sample of highly-weathered outcrop at target 0702 on its 100% owned North Kimberley Diamond Project in Western Australia.
As well, shares of Callidus Capital Corporation (TSX:CBL) slid 31% to $4.42 as the alternative corporate lender said it swung to a fiscal 2017 net loss of $218.5 million from income of $1.2 million in the previous year.
Golden Queen Mining Co. Ltd. (TSX:GQM), meanwhile, reported drill results for the first five holes at its 50%-owned Soledad Mountain gold-silver mine in California, in which the Company said some new mineralized zones have been identified. Golden Queen Mining stock moved up 9% to $0.19 following the announcement.
Finally, Augusta Industries Inc. (TSXV:AAO) shares rose 25% to $0.025 after the developer of non-intrusive sensing systems announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, FOX-TEK Canada Inc., has received the first order for its leak detection system from an Alberta-based engineering firm.
