Hempco Launches PLANETHEMP Brand Retail Products – UK and Canada

VANCOUVER, Oct. 11, 2016 /CNW/ – Hempco Food and Fiber Inc. (TSXV: HFF) (“Hempco” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that September 2016 was the official launch of PLANETHEMP brand retail product distribution throughout Canada and the United Kingdom.  Hempco has signed an agreement with Tree of Life UK – natural, health and wellness products distributors in Europe serving hundreds of retailers. PLANETHEMP product line is being presented to well known companies such as:   Whole Foods (12 UK stores), Marks and Spencer (914 UK stores), Sainsbury (1,374 UK stores), Waitrose (350 UK stores) and Tesco (3,243 UK stores).

Statistics show (NBJ’s Global Supplement and Nutrition Industry Report 2014) demand for organic and natural, gluten free and non gmo products are in greater demand in the EU over North America.

Hempco has signed an agreement with Raw Elements – natural, health and wellness products distributors in Canada to approximately 800 stores nationally. See www.planethemp.ca store locator for availability.

PLANETHEMP brand currently offers a variety of hemp seed nut, hemp seed oil, hemp seed nut based snacks, and hemp seed protein powder products – with new products such as meatless and snack items currently under development.
