CBLT Inc. (TSXV:CBLT), a cobalt explorer, moved up after announcing grab sample results from the Bloom Lake Property

Promising grab sample assays boosted shares of a cobalt explorer Tuesday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 (as of 4 pm EST):

CBLT Inc. (TSXV:CBLT) shares moved 17% higher to $0.035 on Tuesday after the cobalt explorer announced grab sample results from exploration work at the Bloom Lake Property in Gowganda, Ontario, one of which assayed 6.84% cobalt, 0.422 g/t gold, 0.58% copper and 1.56% nickel.

As well, shares of Aimia Inc. (TSX:AIM) rose 10% to $4.21 as the marketing and loyalty analytics provider said it has agreed to sell its Aeroplan loyalty business to a consortium consisting of Air Canada, The Toronto-Dominion Bank, Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, and Visa Canada Corporation for a purchase price of $450 million in cash and the assumption of approximately $1.9 billion of Aeroplan Miles liability.

Perisson Petroleum Corporation (TSXV:POG), meanwhile, reported that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Lan Cheng Limited, a private investment fund, to sell approximately 45,678,787 common shares of the Company at a price of US$1.0946 per share, resulting in gross proceeds to the Company of US$50 million. Perisson Petroleum stock moved up 71% to $0.12 following the announcement.
