Uracan Resources Ltd. (TSXV: URC)
shares climbed 50% to $0.06 on Friday after the uranium junior announced a
non-brokered private placement of up to 15 million flow through shares at a
price of $0.06 per share for gross proceeds of $900,000, a minimum of $200,000
of which will be purchased by insiders.
As well,
shares of Rainmaker Resources Ltd. (TSXV: RMG)
sank 32% to $0.075 as the frac sand company reported that it has received
analytical results from the initial phase of field testing on the Jayjay and
Jayjay East frac sand projects in Saskatchewan, which the company claims generally
meet industry requirements for use as proppant sand.
Azabache Energy Inc. (TSXV: AZA),
meanwhile, said it has appointment of Mr. Bill Hogenson as a senior G&G
advisor to the president. Mr. Hogenson has over 31 years’ experience in the oil
and gas industry. Azabache is a Canadian-based emerging resource company with
existing assets in Argentina and Colombia. Its stock popped 30% to $0.07 following
the announcement.
Finally,
Levon Resources Ltd. (TSX: LVN)
shares rose 8% to $0.28 after the precious metals explorer announced that it is
undertaking a US$1 million private placement at a price of C$0.25 per share.
