Key Findings for the week:

• Gran Colombia Gold Corp. (TSX: GCM) was the top gainer for the week with a 37% gain. The company’s market capitalization rose after the release of its quarterly report in which it declined its all-in sustaining costs to a targeted level.
• The UG 50 index declined by 2.70% to close at 79.33. It underperformed TSXV index (-0.93), Gold (1.14%) and S&P/TSX global gold index (-0.58%).
• The performance of the UG 50 constituent companies was mostly negative with 10 out of 46 companies recording positive performance while 32 companies reported negative performance for the week.
