Trio-Tech International (NYSE MKT:
TRT
) shares shot up 17% to $3.84 on Wednesday after the diversified
business group reported fourth-quarter revenue that rose 10.2%, while its net
income for the quarter surged to $0.07 per share from a penny share during the
same period last year.

As well,
shares of Arrowhead Research Corporation
(NASDAQ:
ARWR
) plunged 44% to $7.03 on volume of more than 54 million shares as
the biopharmaceutical company released disappointing data from its experimental
hepatitis B therapy ARC-520.

CombiMatrix Corporation (NASDAQ: CBMX),
meanwhile, said it expects to report record volumes of prenatal testing in the
third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2014, with preliminary growth
rates of 71% and 64%, respectively, compared with comparable periods in 2013.
CombiMatrix is a molecular diagnostics company specializing in DNA-based
testing services for pre-and postnatal developmental disorders. Its stock
popped 8% to $1.29 following the announcement.

Finally,
A10 Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: ATEN)
shares sank 42% to $4.55 after the application networking technology provider
announced that it now expects Q3 revenue of approximately $43.0 million to
$43.5 million, below the company’s previous guidance of $48.0 million to $50.0
million.
