These
days, it takes a lot for companies to attract attention. Having the large
numbers or projects can no longer cut the butter. So what do you do if you are
a company trying to turn the heads of investors? Successful investors consider
multiple factors before putting their hard earned dollars into a company. Less
is never more for an investor looking to make a quick buck. It sometimes pays
to spread out into different industries. One company that is well diversified and
could be worth further research is ExlService
Holdings (NASDAQ: EXLS),
and here’s three reasons why:
Diversity: The company has its
foot in a lot of doors. They offer an array of services that often times separate
companies do independently. These include collections, loan servicing,
accounting processes and customer support.
Current Prospect/Stability: The
company mostly deals with long-term contracts, which provides it stability in
the long run. In Q3 of 2014, the company reported a growth rate of 38% in
decision analytics. However, the company is much more than just long-term
contracts. It does deals as well. In recent years the company acquired OPI,
which is another outsourcing firm. Unlike ExlService, OPI is branched out into
the finance and accounting area as opposed to the insurance industry.
Leading by Example: What
investors should really take note from EXL is how it sets the bar in its
industry. Earlier in November, the company was named a leader in the
transportation management segment of the “2014 HfS Blueprint Report: Supply
Chain Management BPO.” EXL was recognized for its innovation and pursuance to
make the user experience of its customer as friendly as possible. EXL recently
released a proprietary analytics algorithm that uses triangulation techniques
to reduce revenue leakage. The company also released its Freight Invoice
Payment System, which aims to integrate customers, carriers and service
providers into a single solution that analyses the many variables affecting
freight costs.
