In the Canadian markets, Melior Resources Inc (TSXV: MLR) gained 82% Thursday, piercing the long term 200 DMA (Daily Moving Average) of C$0.09. MLR rose on news that it will hold a second press conference on April 14, 2014 to discuss the transaction announced in its March 31, 2014 press release. MLR inked an agreement to acquire 100% of Belridge Enterprises Pty Ltd, an Australian company which owns the Goondicum Ilmenite Project located in Queensland, Australia. Astur Gold Corp (TSXV: AST), NGEx Resources Inc (TSX: NGQ), Petrobank Energy & Resources Ltd (TSX: PBG), and Symbility Solutions Inc (TSXV: SY) were the other stocks breaching the 200 DMA to the upside with strong price momentum. Negative breakouts were seen in Mega Precious Metals Inc (TSXV: MGP), Edge Resources Inc (TSXV: EDE), Theralase Technologies Inc (TSXV: TLT), Kirkland Lake Gold Inc (TSX: KGI), and ICO Therapeutics Inc (TSXV: ICO).
