GLENTEL Inc. (TSX: GLN)
shares shot up 102% to $25.75 on Friday after the provider of wireless
communications services and solutions said it has agreed to be acquired by BCE
Inc., for about $594 million in cash and stock, or approximately $26.50 per
share.
As well,
shares of Vogogo Inc. (TSXV: VGO)
were off 1% to $3.60 as the payment processor that services the crypto-currency
industry announced that its Q3 net loss widened to $0.08 a share from $0.02
during the year-ago quarter, while its revenue rose slightly to $23,638 from
$23,495.
Questor Technology Inc. (TSXV: QST)
stock, meanwhile, slumped 17% to $3.32 after the international environmental
oilfield services provider reported a 5% improvement in its third-quarter
revenue to $3.1 million, while its profit for the period rose 6% to $867,856.
