Regulus Therapeutics Inc. (NASDAQ: RGLS)
shares shot up a staggering 103% to $13.75 after the drug developer announced a
potential breakthrough hepatitis C treatment has been discovered. The company
recently stated that it had successfully demonstrated a human proof concept of
microRNA therapeutic study. This potential breakthrough in medical technology
is a milestone for the company’s history and represents a key achievement under
the clinical map initiative.
As well,
shares of Boulder Brands Inc. (NASDAQ: BDBD)
sank 25% to $9.62 following an update from the food products company
detailing lower than expected earnings per share estimates. The company now expects
that it will earn approximately 8 cents per share compared to the previous EPS forecast
of between 10-12 cents a share.
Vapor Corp. (NASDAQ: VPCO)
stock, meanwhile, shot up 63% to $2.85. The company’s share price is near a two-month
high and has extended its recent break out. Vapor Corp designs, markets and
distributes electronic cigarettes, e-liquids and accessories throughout North
America.

Unisys Corporation (NASDAQ: UIS)
shares continued to move higher, up 22% to $23.62 a day after the information
technology company reported that it has swung to a third-quarter profit of 95
cents per diluted share, as compared with a loss of 26 cents per share during the
same period last year. Revenue for the quarter rose 11% to $883 million.
