Artek Exploration Ltd. (TSX: RTK)
shares jumped 10% to $2.43 on Friday after the oil and gas producer/explorer
said its A-65-I Horizontal Montney well in the Inga/Fireweed area of British
Columbia has been on production for 30 days and during that time period
averaged approximately 903 boe/d of which 513 bbl/d or 55% was free condensate
and 67% was total liquids. Based on September 2014 pricing the well generated
an operating netback of approximately $50/boe, resulting in cash flow of
approximately $1.4 million.
As well,
shares of North American Palladium Ltd.
(TSX: PDL)
slipped 6% to $0.16 a day after the precious metals producer reported
third-quarter drill results from its 2014 Lac des Iles exploration program,
which included 20.3 meters of 5.2 g/t palladium.
SENSIO Technologies Inc. (TSXV: SIO),
meanwhile, announced the extension of its content licensing agreement with
Universal Pictures Home Entertainment for the distribution of 3D movies through
its 3DGO!™ video-on-demand service. SENSIO
stock popped 26% to $0.17 on Friday.
Finally,
Legacy Oil + Gas Inc. (TSX: LEG)
shares rose 2% to $4.95 as the intermediate oil and natural gas company said
Aidan M. Walsh has joined its Board of Directors. Mr. Walsh is President
and Chief Executive Officer of Baccalieu Energy Inc., a Canadian junior oil and
gas company.
