Netlist, Inc. (NASDAQ: NLST) Shares Surge on Patent Win: U.S. Daily Market Movers

Netlist, Inc. (NASDAQ: NLST)
shares jumped 16% to $1.19 on volume of more than 3.1 million shares Monday
after the provider of memory solutions for the cloud computing and storage
markets announced that the Patent Trial and Appeal Board of the United States
Patent and Trademark Office issued a final decision in the reexamination of
U.S. Pat. No. 7,532,537, denying Inphi Corporation’s request for a rehearing
and thus upholding the validity of Netlists’ 60 claims.

As well,
shares of Regado Biosciences, Inc. (NASDAQ: RGDO)
plunged 60% to $1.13 on more than 9.9 million shares traded as the biopharmaceutical
firm said it has terminated the late-stage trial testing of its lead drug Revolixys,
for coronary artery disease, based on a recommendation from the Data Safety
Monitoring Board.

Advaxis, Inc. (NASDAQ: ADXS),
meanwhile, reported that it has entered into a clinical trial collaboration
agreement with Merck, to evaluate the combination of Advaxis’s Lm-LLO
cancer immunotherapy, ADXS-PSA, with Merck’s investigational anti PD-1
antibody, pembrolizumab. Advaxis stock popped 23% to $4 following the announcement.

Finally,
Heat Biologics, Inc. (NASDAQ: HTBX)
shares slipped 8% to $6.12 after the clinical stage biopharmaceutical company announced
that it has closed on a debt financing in the principal amount of up to $7.5
million with Square 1 Bank. Following the closing, management expects the company’s
current cash position to be extended by at least two quarters through the first
quarter of 2016.
