Methes Energies International Ltd. (NASDAQ: MEIL)
shares jumped 18% to $3.11 on more than 1.2 million shares traded Friday after
the renewable energy company said it is finalizing arrangements with a large
national aggregator and a downstream distributor in the United States to supply
up to 40 railcars of biodiesel per month or the equivalent of up to 1 million
gallons per month for the rest of 2014 and beyond.

As well,
shares of Smith Micro Software,
Inc.
 (NASDAQ: SMSI)
plunged 43% to $0.85 on volume of more than 3.6 million shares as the provider
of wireless and mobility solutions announced a restructuring plan that will
reduce its employees by approximately 20%, including its current CFO and Chief
Revenue Officer.

Matrix Service Company (NASDAQ: MTRX),
meanwhile, reported that Enbridge Energy has awarded terminal expansion
contracts in excess of $100 million to Matrix subsidiaries. Matrix Service
stock popped 18% to $33.57.

Finally,
Rocket Fuel Inc. (NASDAQ: FUEL)
shares sank 22% to $21.83 after the provider of artificial intelligence and big
data solutions for digital advertising issued a lower-than-expected revenue
outlook for its second quarter.
