LiveDeal Inc. (NASDAQ: LIVE)
shares shot up 17% to $4.52 on volume of more than 5.7 million shares Wednesday
after the publicly-traded company that operates livedeal.com reported a 340%
increase in its third-quarter net revenue.
As well,
shares of SeaWorld Entertainment, Inc.
(NASDAQ:
SEAS) tanked 33% to $18.90 on more than 41.2 million shares traded as the
theme park and entertainment company announced disappointing Q2 results and cut
its full-year revenue outlook.
Canadian Solar Inc. (NASDAQ: CSIQ),
meanwhile, reported better than expected second quarter revenue and earnings
and said it expects shipments to rise further in the current quarter. Canadian
Solar stock popped 24% to $31.03 following the announcement.
Finally,
Versar, Inc. (NYSE MKT:
VSR) shares climbed 12% to $3.49 after the project management firm
said it has been awarded a $98.3 million firm fixed price Design/Bid/Build task
order for the repair of a runway at Dover Air Force Base in Delaware.
