Lime Energy (NASDAQ: LIME)
shares skyrocketed 163% to $5.57 on volume of more than 5.6 million shares
Thursday after the provider of energy savings for small business customers said
it has been awarded approximately $180 million of new utility program business.
As
well, shares of Nanosphere, Inc. (NASDAQ: NSPH)
sank 33% to $0.95 on more than 4.9 million shares traded as the targeted
molecular diagnostics company lowered its 2014 revenue guidance to $14 million
from $19 million-$21 million.
T2 Biosystems, Inc. (NASDAQ: TTOO)
stock, meanwhile, popped 30% to $14.32 on its first day of trading Thursday. T2
Biosystems is an in-vitro diagnostics company.
Finally,
Horizon Pharma, Inc. (NASDAQ: HZNP) shares jumped 12%
to $9.49 after the specialty pharmaceutical firm reported better than expected Q2
revenue and earnings and guided its fiscal 2015 revenue above the current
consensus estimate.
