Junior Resource Stock Soars on Financing News: Canadian Daily Small/Micro Cap Market Movers

Mawson West Limited (TSX: MWE)
shares shot up 125% to $0.045 on volume of more than 24.9 million shares Thursday
after the copper and silver-focused resource company reported that Switzerland’s
Galena Asset Management will provide the company with up to US$33.4 million in
financing, which includes a C$5 million private placement in Mawson involving
41.67 million of its shares at a price of C$0.12 per share.

As well, shares of DIAGNOS Inc. (TSXV: ADK)
slipped 25% to $0.045 as the provider of technologies combining contextual
imaging and traditional data mining announced an agreement with Alexandria
Minerals based on the results generated by CARDS (Computer Aided Resources
Detection Software) for their Cadillac Break properties. The fee to use CARDS
and right to use the targets provided by CARDS for this project is C$70,000.

Probe Mines Limited (TSXV: PRB),
meanwhile, said it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire 100%
ownership of the mineral rights to 486 patented claims in and around the Borden
Gold deposit in northern Ontario. Probe stock moved up 10% to $3.03.
