Small
stocks making big moves on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 (as of 4 pm EST),

Copper Mountain Mining Corporation (TSX: CUM)
shares jumped 12% to $2.22 on Wednesday after the copper miner reported a 51%
increase in its third-quarter revenue, net of pricing adjustments, to $82.5
million, while its total cash costs for the period fell 22% to US$1.73 per
pound of copper sold net of precious metal credits and after all off-site
charges.
As well,
shares of GoGold Resources Inc. (TSX: GGD)
slipped 11% to $1.45 as the Canadian-based silver and gold producer with several
properties in Mexico announced a bought deal financing in which the company will
issue 13,333,500 common shares at a price of $1.50 per share for gross proceeds
of approximately $20 million.
Cardiff Energy Corp. (TSXV: CRS),
meanwhile, provided a further update on the testing of the Bearcat # 4 well in
Ballinger, Texas, in which the well’s operator, Martin Energy, reported the
Gardiner Lime to date has “produced a significant amount of gas and given time
as the gas cap is depleted, oil should begin to flow as indicated from the
logs.” Cardiff Energy stock popped 16% to $0.18 following the announcement.
Finally,
Theralase Technologies Inc. (TSXV: TLT)
shares climbed 15% to $0.39 after the super-pulsed laser technology maker said
that in new preclinical research, conducted at Princess Margaret Cancer
Centre, it has further validated the company’s Photo Dynamic Compound’s ability
to destroy a primary host tumour and even more importantly render the animal
immune to a repeated exposure of the same cancer.
