Junior Exploration Stock Pops on Discovery Update: Canadian Daily Small/Micro Cap Market Movers

Gungnir Resources Inc. (TSXV: GUG)
shares surged 50% to $0.03 on Tuesday after the explorer reported two new
developments on its 100% owned Knaften property in Sweden, including the
discovery of additional gold-arsenic mineralized boulders proximal to an
earlier reported 8.52 g/t gold discovery as well as the identification of
massive sulphides with a VMS base metal signature. 

As well,
shares of NuLegacy Gold Corporation
(TSXV:
NUG
) slid 13% to $0.11 as the Nevada gold explorer announced that the assay
results from the first hole drilled into the Avocado IP (Induced Polarization)
anomaly have confirmed the discovery of a second Carlin-type gold system.

CRH Medical Corporation (TSX: CRH),
meanwhile, reported a 19% increase in its third-quarter revenue to $2.2
million. CRH Medical is focused on providing physicians with products for the
treatment of gastrointestinal diseases. Its stock popped 18% to $0.79 following
the announcement.

Empire Industries Ltd. (TSXV: EIL)
shares added 26% at $0.12 after the manufacturer of specialized engineered
products said it has been awarded a contract from a major South Korean theme
park valued at approximately $8 million.

In
addition, shares of Fireswirl
Technologies Inc.
(TSXV: FSW)
surged 20% to $0.18 as the China-based mobile commerce solutions provider
reported that it had agreed to sell its Shenzhen e-commerce platform in a deal
valued at up to $8 million.

Finally, ProMetic Life Sciences Inc. (TSX: PLI)
shares rose 6% to $1.72 after the biopharmaceutical company announced that the
U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has completed its review and has
cleared the Investigational New Drug (IND) application for ProMetic’s IV
plasminogen for the treatment of hypoplasminogenemia, or type I plasminogen
deficiency.
