Petro-Victory Energy Corp. (TSXV: VRY)
shares powered as much as 25% higher after the Latin American-focused oil and gas
exploration company said that the Lapacho x-1 well in Paraguay has reached
total depth at 4,543 metres in the Santa Rosa Formation, and hydrocarbon shows
have been encountered throughout the gross formation thickness extending right
to total depth, with background gas of up to 20% and trip gas of up to 48%.
As well,
shares of Platinum Group Metals Ltd.
(TSX: PTM)
fell 15% to $0.59 as the platinum project developer in South Africa announced that
it has entered into a bought deal in which it will be selling 207.6 million of
its common shares at a price of US$0.53 per share for gross proceeds of
US$110,028,000.
VANC Pharmaceuticals Inc. (TSXV: NPH),
meanwhile, reported that it has been issued a Drug Establishment License by
Health Canada, which allows it to import pharmaceutical products and distribute
them within Canada. VANC Pharmaceuticals stock moved up 11% to $0.21 following
the announcement.
Finally, Snipp Interactive Inc. (TSXV: SPN)
shares rose 10% to $0.52 after the international provider of mobile marketing
solutions said it has launched SnippRebates to target the growing $8 billion
rebate industry.
