IsoRay, Inc. (NYSE: ISR)
climbed 14% to $1.84 after it was reported that Isoray’s Cesium-131 therapy
stops brain cancers from recurring in treated location where previous treatments
had failed. Patients who were treated with the new approach using Cesium-131
fared better than they had using earlier, conventional treatment.
As well,
shares of Lentuo International Inc. (NYSE: LAS)
shot up 8% to $1.25 as the Beijing based automobile retailer topped Q3 profit
estimates. The company reported a profit of RMB40.8 million (approx. $780,000) in
its third quarter. The company also reported a gross profit margin of 10.8%
compared to the 9.8% in the third quarter of 2013.
Goodrich Petroleum Corp. (NYSE: GDP)
stock, meanwhile, sank 22% to $4.73 after KeyBanc Capital Markets downgraded
the company’s shares from a “buy” to a “hold” rating. Furthermore, a drop in
oil prices to a five-year low contributed to its stock price hitting a new
52-week low.
