CYREN Ltd. (NASDAQ: CYRN)
shares climbed 11% to $1.93 on Wednesday after the security software company
said it has entered into a strategic partnership with China-based security
mobile company, Bangcle. The two companies announced that Bangcle will deploy CYREN
Embedded Antivirus and CYREN Mobile Security for Android to help protect
millions of mobile phones.
As well,
shares of Akers Biosciences Inc. (NASDAQ: AKER)
rose 9% to $2.91 as the rapid diagnostic, screening and testing product
manufacturer announced the receipt of an initial purchase order valued at US$1
million from NovoTek Therapeutics Inc. to supply PIFA Heparin PF4/Rapid Assay
products in China. NovoTek, a Beijing-based pharmaceutical and medical device
business development company, holds the exclusive sales and marketing rights
for the company’s PIFA Heparin/PF4 Rapid Assay products in China. The company
expects to deliver the order by December 31, 2014.

(NASDAQ: MIND)
stock, meanwhile, sank 20% to $5.71 after the geophysical equipment supplier reported
Q3 revenue of $22.9 million and a loss of $397,000, or $0.03 a share, which
fell short of analyst expectations.
