Cimatron Ltd. (NASDAQ: CIMT)
shares shot up 42% to $8.65 on Monday after the company agreed to be acquired
by 3D Systems Corp for $97 million to strengthen its position in the fast
growing 3D design and manufacturing business. 3D systems will reportedly pay
$8.97 per Cimatron share.
As well,
shares of Five Prime Therapeutics, Inc.
(NASDAQ: FPRX)
surged 31% to $20.70 after the company entered into a Clinical Trial
Collaboration Agreement with Bristol-Myers Squibb Company. Under the terms of
the agreement, BMS and FivePrime plan to study the Combined Therapy of their
Opdivo and FPA008 drugs as a potential treatment for patients with non-small
cell lung cancer (NSCLC), melanoma, head and neck cancer, pancreatic cancer,
colorectal cancer and malignant glioma.
Ring Energy, Inc. (NYSE: REI)
stock, meanwhile, sank 10% to $12.14 on Monday after it was downgraded by Canaccord
Genuity. The company’s shares were downgraded from “buy” to “hold.” They
currently have a $12 price target, down from $20.
