Trulia Inc (NYSE: TRLA), a real estate search engine company that offers a suite of free and subscription products that provide real estate professionals with access to transaction-ready consumers and help them to grow and manage their online presence, was the top performer in the U.S. technology sector after jumping 32.4% on Thursday while recording huge volumes of 11.5 million shares following reports that it is likely to be acquired by Zillow (NASDAQ: Z). The stock ended yesterday at $53.74 breaching both the short term key technical resistance levels 30-day and 50-day DMAs at $43.44 and $41.04 respectively. During the past 5-trading sessions, the stock gained 39.1% with 5-day average trading volumes of 2.9 million shares compared to past one month daily average trading volumes of 1.6 million shares. The stock is up 53% year-to-date.

Shares of QSolar Ltd (CNSX: QSL), a technology company in the field of Solar Photovoltaic (PV) panel manufacturing, skyrocketed 32.6% yesterday after the company announced the successful completion of the Dubai desert PV solar panel pilot tests and reported it outperforms both tier 1 manufacturers panels. Yesterday, the stock broke the short term 30-day DMA of C$0.44 and ended at C$0.57 while recording significant volumes of 107,050 shares. During the past five trading sessions, the stock gained 21.3% with daily average trading volumes of 53,560 shares compared with the past one month average trading volumes of 70,355 shares.
