Top Momentum Gainer: Natcore Technology (TSXV: NXT) Surges 56% in 2-Days

Shares of Natcore Technology Inc (TSXV: NXT), engaged in producing and selling thin and thick films of silicon dioxide and mixed silicon oxides, recorded over a 16.0% gain during each of the past two consecutive trading sessions with significant number of shares exchanging hands. NXT was the top performer in the Canadian technology sector after climbing 16.6% and closed at C$0.70 Tuesday, while recording significant trading volumes of 184,978 shares. NXT broke its key technical resistance levels of 30-Day & 50-Day DMAs at C$0.60 and C$0.68 respectively. Recently, the company announced that its R&D center in Rochester, N.Y. has created an all-low-temperature, laser-processed solar cell. The company states that the combination of its latest development, laser processing and its black silicon technology could lead to gains in efficiency and significantly lower production costs. During the past 5-trading sessions, NXT gained 47.4% with daily average trading volumes of 93,873 shares, while the stock accumulated a 9.4% gain during the past one month with daily average trading volumes of 58,543 shares.
