Small
cap stocks making big moves on Friday, June 27, 2014 (as of 4 pm EST)
Amedisys, Inc. (NASDAQ: AMED)
shares jumped 30% to $17.46 on volume of more than 4.2 million shares Friday
after the home health and hospice care company said it anticipates second
quarter revenue in the range of $300-$305 million, and adjusted earnings per
share from continuing operations of between $0.15 and $0.20.
As well,
shares of ANADIGICS, Inc. (NASDAQ: ANAD)
sank 18% to $0.85 on more than 8 million shares traded as the manufacturer of
radio frequency solutions for the cellular, WiFi, and infrastructure markets
announced that it was lowering its Q2 2014 revenue guidance to approximately
$23 million and that it would also be cutting approximately 30% of its
workforce.
LightInTheBox Holding Co., Ltd. (NASDAQ: LITB),
meanwhile, raised its revenue guidance for the second quarter of
fiscal 2014 to a range of $86 million and $88 million, up from its previously announced
guidance of $84 million to $86 million. LightInTheBox stock popped 26% to
$6.42 following the announcement.
Finally,
DragonWave Inc. (NASDAQ: DRWI)
shares climbed 14% to $1.93 after analysts at CIBC upped their
price target on the company’s stock to $3 from $1. DragonWave is a
supplier of packet microwave radio systems for mobile and access networks.
