On Track Innovations Ltd. (NASDAQ: OTIV)
shares jumped 7% to $3.55 on volume of more than 32.2 million shares Wednesday
after the cashless payment solutions company said it would bring add-on
devices for Apple‘s (NASDAQ: AAPL) iPhone
4, 4s, 5, 5s and iPad devices.
As well,
shares of GT Advanced Technologies Inc.
(NASDAQ:
GTAT) slipped 15% to $12.78 on more than 40.1 million shares traded following
a Reuters report that Apple’s
new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus will not feature screens made with the
company’s sapphire glass.
Lands’ End, Inc. (NASDAQ: LE),
meanwhile, reported better than expected Q2 earnings and revenue. Lands’ End
stock popped 21% to $40.20 following the announcement.
Finally,
Receptos, Inc. (NASDAQ: RCPT)
shares climbed 24% to $58.30 after the biopharmaceutical company announced that
data from the Phase 2 portion of RADIANCE, the company’s Phase 2/3 trial of
RPC1063 in Relapsing Multiple Sclerosis, will be reviewed in a late breaker
oral podium presentation at MS Boston on September 13, 2014.
