EveryWare Global, Inc. (NASDAQ: EVRY)
shares powered 24% higher to $2.56 on volume of more than 3.7 million shares
Thursday after the marketer of tabletop and food preparation products said it
has agreed to sell its U.K. business.
As well,
shares of Kindred Biosciences, Inc.
(NASDAQ:
KIN) slid 28% to $10.21 on more than 2 million shares traded as the
biopharmaceutical company announced that its pivotal field study of CereKin, an
interleukin-1 inhibitor for the control of pain and inflammation associated
with osteoarthritis in dogs, did not meet its primary endpoint.
Digital Ally, Inc. (NASDAQ: DGLY),
meanwhile, said the number of inquiries that it has received from law
enforcement agencies interested in its FirstVU HD Officer-Worn Video
System has increased dramatically since the national media began covering the
civil unrest in Ferguson, Missouri. Digital Ally stock popped 21% to $7.01 following the announcement.
Finally,
America’s Car-Mart, Inc. (NASDAQ: CRMT)
shares shot up 13% to $41.86 after the operator of 136 automotive dealerships in
the United States reported better than expected Q1 earnings and revenue.
