CBD Energy Limited (NASDAQ: CBDE) Shares Soar on Contract Win: U.S. Daily Market Movers

CBD Energy Limited (NASDAQ: CBDE)
shares surged 60% to $3.80 on volume of more than 4.4 million shares Friday
after the solar systems provider announced an agreement with Environmental
Engineering Group Thailand to construct a 64MW solar park with a projected development
cost of approximately $112 million. CBDE estimates it will earn a pre-tax
profit of $6.08 million from the project’s construction.

As well,
shares of ServiceSource (NASDAQ: SREV)
slid 24% to $3.39 on more than 8.5 million shares traded as the recurring
revenue management company reported second quarter earnings and revenue that
fell short of Wall Street expectations.

Tandem Diabetes Care, Inc. (NASDAQ: TNDM), meanwhile,
announced better than expected second quarter earnings. The medical device
company manufactures the t:slim Insulin Pump. Tandem stock popped 13% to $14.12 following the announcement. 

Finally,
Intervest Bancshares Corporation (NASDAQ: IBCA) shares jumped 18% to $9.40 after the Bank of the Ozarks, Inc. (NASDAQ: OZRK)
said it would acquire the bank holding company in an all-stock transaction
valued at approximately $228.5 million.
