ZipRealty, Inc. (NASDAQ: ZIPR) Shares Skyrocket on Takeover Deal: U.S. Daily Market Movers

ZipRealty, Inc. (NASDAQ: ZIPR) shares soared 122% to $6.70 on volume of
more than 4.6 million shares Wednesday after the national real estate brokerage
firm said it has agreed to be acquired by Realogy
Holdings Corp.
(NASDAQ: RLGY) for $6.75 per share in an all-cash
transaction valued at approximately $166 million.

As well,
shares of Interactive Intelligence Group
Inc.
(NASDAQ:
ININ
) fell 15% to $42.42 on more than 1.7 million shares traded as the software
and services provider revised its guidance for the 2014 second quarter, lower
than its previous forecast.

AMSC (NASDAQ:
AMSC
), meanwhile, reported that Commonwealth Edison Company, one of
the nation’s largest electric utilities, has agreed to develop a deployment
plan for AMSC’s high temperature superconductor technology to build a
superconducting cable system that will strengthen Chicago’s electric grid.
AMSC stock popped 28% to $2.06 following the announcement.

Finally,
iCAD, Inc. (NASDAQ: ICAD)
shares climbed 22% to $8.70 after the provider of advanced image analysis,
workflow solutions and radiation therapy for the early identification and
treatment of cancer announced the signing of a definitive agreement to acquire
DermEbx and Radion, Inc. Total consideration at closing is approximately $12.6
million, consisting of $3.8 million in cash and 1.2 million shares of iCAD
common stock.
