FormFactor, Inc. (NASDAQ: FORM)
shares climbed 16% to $7.12 on volume of more than 2.8 million shares Wednesday
after the provider of wafer test solutions said it expects revenue for its
fiscal second quarter of 2014 to be between $65 million and $69 million, higher
than the company’s previous revenue guidance of $62 million to $66 million.
As well,
shares of DSW Inc. (NYSE: DSW)
slid 27% to $23.62 on more than 28.3 million shares traded as the branded
footwear and accessories retailer reported first-quarter earnings that missed
Wall Street expectations and provided lower than consensus fiscal year 2014
guidance.
LiveDeal (NASDAQ: LIVE),
meanwhile, said it has become one of the newly named companies added to Morgan
Stanley’s Global Index effective by the close of market on Friday, May 30,
2014. LiveDeal stock popped 34% to $5.07 following the announcement.
Finally,
India Globalization Capital, Inc. (NYSE MKT:
IGC) shares gained as much as 12% before closing up 2% to $1.51 after the company announced that it has
executed a letter of intent to acquire 51% of Golden Gate, a Hong Kong based
trading company, in consideration for 1,209,765 shares of IGC common stock.
