LiveDeal Inc. (NASDAQ: LIVE) Shares Jump on Apple App Announcement: U.S. Daily Market Movers

LiveDeal Inc. (NASDAQ: LIVE)
shares shot up 24% to $5.40 on volume of more than 3.6 million shares Thursday,
a day after the operator of a geo-location based mobile marketing platform said
it has completed the development of the livedeal.com iOS mobile App and has
entered it into Apple’s submission process. The company expects Apple’s
approval shortly.

As well,
shares of MoneyGram (NASDAQ: MGI)
slipped 18% to $14.81 on more than 2.7 million shares traded after Wal-Mart (NYSE: WMT)
announced that it was launching a money transfer service. MoneyGram is a
global money transfer and payment services company.

Insteel Industries, Inc. (NASDAQ: IIIN),
meanwhile, reported second-quarter earnings of $0.19 per share, $0.06 better
than the Wall Street consensus estimate. Revenue for the period rose 10.3% year/year
to $91.4 million, surpassing the forecast of $86.53 million. The company manufactures
steel wire reinforcing products for concrete construction applications. Insteel
stock moved up 17% to $23.95 following the announcement. 

Finally,
Knoll, Inc. (NYSE: KNL)
shares gained 9% to $18.28 as the company announced better-than-expected
earnings and revenue for its fiscal 2014 first quarter.
