Drill results from the Far North had a few speculators thinking of a zinc explorer Tuesday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 (as of 11:30 am EST):
Fireweed Zinc Ltd. (TSXV:FWZ) shares jumped 17% to $0.62 on Tuesday after the zinc explorer announced the last results from the 2019 drilling program at the Macmillan Pass Project in the Yukon, which included 7.94% zinc over a true width of 100 metres.
As well, shares of Garibaldi Resources (TSXV:GGI) sank 19% to $1.21 as the junior explorer released the latest assay results from Nickel Mountain in British Columbia, which included 52.3 meters grading 0.65% nickel and 0.49% copper.
Martello Technologies Group Inc. (TSXV:MTLO), meanwhile, reported that it has been accepted into the Microsoft co-sell program, which will provide opportunities to sell Martello’s iQ product together with Microsoft, by working to develop the market and enable sales. Martello Technologies stock popped 21% to $0.40 following the announcement.
