The
Canadian oil and gas sector may have disappointed many companies and investors
in recent years, but Alan Tambosso, President of Sayer Energy Advisors, says
the steep decline in M&A activity in 2013 was in large part due to
uncertainty about the direction of natural gas prices.
Mr.
Tambosso believes there will likely be more capital put to work in developing
oil and gas in the Montney and Duvernay basins due to the high level of
interest from capital-rich Asian investors.
