British Columbia assays attracted the attention of more than a few speculators to shares of a copper explorer Wednesday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 (as of 4 pm EST):
Universal Copper Ltd. (TSXV:UNV) shares jumped as much as 30% on Wednesday after the copper explorer announced drill results from its Poplar copper property in British Columbia, which included 0.413% copper mineralization over 394.82 metres.
As well, shares of Titan Medical Inc. (TSX:TMD) plunged 49% to $0.72 as the medical device company focused on a robotic surgical system said it is withdrawing all forward-looking statements included in its continuous disclosure documents with respect to the cost and timing of the development of its robotic surgical system beyond the fourth quarter of 2019.
dynaCERT Inc. (TSXV:DYA), meanwhile, reported that it has concluded three agreements with Germany’s Mosolf SE & CO. AG, including a Memorandum of Understanding defining the collaboration for penetration in numerous vertical markets in Europe of dynaCERT’s hydrogen technology. dynaCERT stock moved up 16% to $0.58 following the announcement.
Finally, Canada Cobalt Works Inc. (TSXV:CCW) shares rose 6% to $0.375 after the resource junior announced that it has successfully poured its first silver in a proof of concept test ahead of a ramp-up that will officially begin with the pouring of a 1,000-ounce silver dore bar planned for later this month.
