A fertilizers project Record of Decision lifted shares of a resource junior Wednesday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 (as of 11:30 am EST):
Crystal Peak Minerals Inc. (TSXV:CPM) shares gained 40% to $0.14 on Wednesday after the resource junior announced the receipt of the Record of Decision from the U.S. Department of the Interior for its Sevier Playa specialty fertilizers project in Utah, which allows for construction to begin and enables the Company to accelerate financing and offtake arrangements.
As well, shares of Martello Technologies Group Inc. (TSXV:MTLO) slipped 11% to $0.39 as the technology company that manages IT infrastructures said its revenue for the first quarter of FY2020 rose 72% year over year to $3.3 million, while its loss from operations for the quarter widened to $963,080 from $762,638 during the same period last year.
Inventronics Limited (TSXV:IVX), meanwhile, reported second-quarter net income of $134,000, or $0.03 per share, on revenue of $1,678,000, compared with a net loss of $47,000, or $0.011 per share, on revenue of $874,000 during the same period last year. The Company designs and manufactures custom enclosures and other products for an array of customers in the telecommunications, electric utility, cable television, oil and gas, electronics and computer services industries in North America. Inventronics stock moved up 32% to $0.165 following the announcement.
Finally, Condor Gold (TSX:COG) shares climbed 34% to $0.59 after the gold explorer announced that a Non-Executive Director of the Company purchased 50,000 shares of Condor Gold on August 23, 2019.
