A big Western Canadian production increase pumped up a junior energy stock Friday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Friday, June 21, 2019 (as of 4 pm EST):

Prospera Inc. (TSXV:PEI), a junior energy stock, jumped 11% to $0.05 on Friday after announcing that production at its Luseland, Hearts Hill and Cuthbert properties in Saskatchewan have increased by 30%, or 345 boe/day.

As well, shares of Tidewater Midstream and Infrastructure Ltd. (TSX:TWM) rose 4% to $1.41 as the diversified midstream energy and infrastructure company said the Pioneer Pipeline, connecting Tidewater’s Brazeau River gas plant to TransAlta’s generating units at Keephills and Sundance, transported the first gas four months ahead of schedule.

Compass Gold Corp. (TSXV:CVB), meanwhile, reported that it will host a conference call on June 25, 2019, to provide a review of the Company’s recent activities, as well as its plans for further exploration at the Ouassada exploration permit on its Sikasso Property in Mali. The Company’s CEO added that, “we are very excited about the results we’re continuing to receive from the field.” Compass Gold stock moved up 26% to $0.365 following the announcement.
