Emerita Resources Corp. (TSXV:EMO), a resource junior, gained ground after announcing that it has begun exploration at the Salobro zinc project in Brazil
Rapid decision making had a few resource junior speculators thinking zinc Thursday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Thursday, February 15, 2018 (as of 4 pm EST):
Emerita Resources Corp. (TSXV:EMO) shares moved 18% higher to $0.13 on Thursday after the resource junior announced that it has begun its exploration program at the Salobro zinc project in Brazil and it has decided to fast track the Project in order to reach a development and construction decision.
As well, shares of Aimia Inc. (TSX:AIM) slid 28% to $1.71 as the data-driven marketing and loyalty analytics company said its fourth-quarter net loss swelled to $215 million from $57 million during the same period.
ARHT Media Inc. (TSXV:ART), meanwhile, reported the appointment of former IMAX executive, Larry O’Reilly, as Chief Executive Officer and a member of the board of directors, effectively immediately. ARHT Media is a creator of digital human holograms. ARHT stock moved up 23% to $0.92 following the announcement.
Finally, DMG Blockchain Solutions Inc. (TSXV:DMGI) shares gained 13% to $1.91 after the diversified Blockchain and cryptocurrency company announced that it has received an order in excess of C$3 million from Japan’s Forside Financial Services, for the hardware purchase and set-up of its Bitcoin-hosting business, with monthly recurring hosting revenues to begin upon completion.
