Shares of a silver explorer continued to power higher Friday following an Arizona exploration update. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Friday, May 12, 2017 (as of 4 pm EST):
Arizona Silver Exploration Inc. (TSXV: AZS) shares continued to advance Friday, up 32% to $0.60 after the silver explorer provided an update on exploration drilling results to date at the Ramsey Silver Project in Arizona.
As well, shares of Badger Daylighting Ltd. (TSX: BAD) slipped 14% to $26.20 as the provider of non-destructive excavating services said its first-quarter revenue rose 15.5% to $101.8 million, although higher hourly wages and benefits, repair and maintenance and fuel expenses mostly offset the benefit of higher revenues in the quarter.
Mission Ready Services Inc. (TSXV: MRS), meanwhile, provided an update on its recent sales and growth achievements saying, among other things, the market for military apparel continues to look strong for 2017 as (the recently-acquired) Wild Things’ bookings are running significantly ahead of last year. Mission Ready Services stock moved up 7% to $0.08 following the announcement.
WesternZagros Resources Ltd. (TSXV: WZR) shares surged 64% to $0.27 after the oil and gas producer/explore announced that it has agreed to be acquired by Crest Energy International LLC for C$0.28 per share in cash.
