Key Findings for the week:

• Rubicon Minerals Corp. (TSX: RMX) was the top gainer for the week with a 31% gain. The company’s market capitalization rose on the recent positive development on its flagship Phoenix Gold Project in Red Lake, Ontario.
• The UG 20 index gained 14.69% to close at 103.20. It outperformed TSXV index (1.00%), Gold (1.89%) and S&P/TSX global gold index (6.75%).
• The performance of the UG 20 constituent companies was mostly positive with 19 out of 20 companies recording positive performance while just one company reported negative performance for the week. The primary reason being the rise in gold price.
