Key Findings for the week:

• Lydian International Ltd. (TSX: LYD) was the top gainer for the week with a 22% gain. The company’s market capitalization rose on the recent positive development on its flagship Amulsar gold project in Armenia.
• The UG 20 index gained 1.67% to close at 89.98. It outperformed TSXV index (0.35%), Gold (0.28%) and S&P/TSX global gold index (1.18%).
• The performance of the UG 20 constituent companies was mostly positive with 12 out of 20 companies recording positive performance while five companies reported negative performance for the week. The primary reason being the rise in gold price.
