MediaValet Inc. (TSXV:
MVP) shares powered 38% higher to $0.275 on Wednesday after the provider of
cloud-based digital asset management software announced that it intends to
raise $2.2 million through a non-brokered private placement and has received an
initial subscription for the full amount from a large Boston-based asset
manager at a price of $0.29 per share. The company added that it may increase
the size of the private placement by up to 15%.
As well,
shares of UrtheCast Corp. (TSX:
UR) eased 3% to $3.60 as the developer of the world’s first Ultra HD video
feed of Earth streamed from space said it has released the first-ever,
full-color HD videos of Earth, filmed from the International Space Station
(ISS) at roughly one-meter resolution.
Coro Mining Corp. (TSX:
COP), meanwhile, reported the conclusions of an updated Preliminary
Economic Assessment (PEA) for the Berta copper project in Chile, together with
a combined US$9.0 million convertible debenture and equity financing package
provided by Greenstone Resources L.P. Coro Mining stock moved up 20% to $0.03 following the announcement.
