Mobio Technologies Inc. (TSXV:
MBO) shares jumped 40% to $0.07 on volume of more than 3 million shares
on Tuesday after the company announced that it has closed an oversubscribed
private placement for gross proceeds of $819,960 at a price of $0.06 per unit. Mobio
is the parent company of Strutta, a social promotions platform that helps
marketers bring potential customers from stranger to fan to customer.
As well,
shares of PetroNova Inc. (TSXV:
PNA) rose 11% to $0.10 as the Colombia-focused oil and gas producer/explorer
said it has agreed to be acquired by Petroamerica
Oil Corp. (TSXV:
PTA) in an all-stock transaction. PetroNova shareholders will receive
0.85 common shares of Petroamerica for each PetroNova Share held.
Dolly Varden Silver Corporation (TSXV:
DV), meanwhile, reported that it will consolidate its common shares on the
basis of 10 old common shares for 1 new common share. Dolly Varden stock dropped
50% to $0.015 following the announcement.
