Uranium Junior Powers Higher on Drill Results: Today’s Canadian Small Cap Market Movers

NexGen Energy Ltd. (TSXV:
NXE
) shares jumped 11% to $0.74 on volume of more than 8.4 million shares Monday
after the uranium explorer/project developer announced assay results from the
Arrow zone on its 100% owned Rook I property in the Athabasca Basin,
Saskatchewan, which included 56.5 metres at 11.55% U3O8.

As well,
shares of Powder Mountain Energy Ltd.
(TSXV:
PDM
) climbed 21% to $0.40 as the oil and gas producer/explorer said it has
agreed to be acquired by Canamax Energy
Ltd.
(TSXV:
CAC
) for total expected consideration of approximately $27.4 million,
payable through the issuance of Canamax common shares having a deemed value of
$0.60 per Canamax common share.  

MBAC Fertilizer
Corp.
 (TSX:
MBC
), meanwhile, reported that, following the receipt of non-binding
proposals disclosed previously, it has now received revised proposals from
third parties active in the fertilizer and agriculture sectors that is expected
to address MBAC’s liquidity requirements.

Finally, 01 Communique Laboratory Inc. (TSXV:
ONE
) shares after the remote access software provider announced that it has
received a favourable court’s claim construction memorandum and order that is
part of 01 Communique’s patent litigation with Citrix Systems Inc.
