Naturally Splendid Enterprises (TSXV: NSP)
shares powered 36% higher to $0.32 on Thursday after the provider of
plant-based omega products announced the launch of a 100% owned hemp-based pet
care line trademarked Pawsitive FX.
As well,
shares of Ballard Power Systems (TSX: BLD)
slipped 12% to $2.98 as the fuel cell products provider reported its fiscal
2014 financial results, which its CEO called “disappointing.”
Coalspur Mines Limited (TSX: CPT),
meanwhile, said it has agreed to be acquired by KC Euroholdings S.a r.l. for $0.023
per share in cash, or a total equity value of approximately $15 million. Coalspur Mines
stock dropped as much as 25% before ending the day unchanged $0.02 following the announcement.
Finally, Junex Inc. (TSXV: JNX)
shares continued to storm higher Thursday, up as much as 38% to $2. Its stock price has
skyrocketed about 150% during the past four trading sessions after the oil and
gas explorer reported on Monday that a steady production rate of 316 barrels of
oil per day was recorded over the most recent five days of its latest phase of
production testing in its Galt No. 4 Horizontal well in Quebec’s Appalachian
basin. This phase started on February 9, 2014, with the maximum oil production
rate over a 24-hour period since this date attaining 396 BOPD.
