Integra Gold Corp. (TSXV: ICG)
shares jumped 7% to $0.29 on volume of more than 3.7 million shares on Wednesday
after the gold project developer announced updated mineral resource estimates
for two of its main gold deposits at its 100% owned Lamaque South Gold Project
in Québec, which included a 173% increase in the Triangle Zone Indicated
resource to 520,630 ounces of gold using a 3.0 grams per tonne gold cut-off grade.
As well,
shares of Ballard Power Systems (TSX: BLD)
soared 64% to $3.50 as the clean energy products provider said it has entered
into a Technology Solutions transaction with Volkswagen Group for an aggregate
amount of approximately US$80 million for the transfer of certain
automotive-related fuel cell intellectual property and a two-year extension of
an engineering services contract.
Fission Uranium Corp. (TSX: FCU),
meanwhile, reported that it will acquire a 12% stake in Fission 3.0 Corp. (TSXV: FUU)
via a non-brokered private placement at a price of $0.14 per share. Fission 3.0
stock moved up 19% to $0.125 following the announcement.

shares of Oncolytics Biotech Inc.
(TSX: ONC)
rose as much as 8% before ending down a penny to $0.60 after the clinical-stage biotechnology company announced that
the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has granted Orphan Drug Designation for
its lead product candidate, REOLYSIN, for the treatment of ovarian cancer.
Finally,
SEMAFO Inc. (TSX: SMF)
shares slipped 10% to $3.71 as the gold miner with operations in Burkina Faso,
West Africa reported that it intends to raise C$20,350,000 in a bought deal
financing at a price of C$3.70 per share.
