stocks making big moves on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 (as of 4 pm EST), as

Kaminak Gold Corporation (TSXV: KAM)
shares gained 12% to $1.14 on Tuesday after the gold explorer announced 2014
infill drilling results from the Kona Deposit and a new, oxide gold discovery
at Coffee, Kaminak’s flagship development track gold project in the Yukon. Results
included 3.24 g/t gold over 13.72 metres.
As well,
shares of Avrupa Minerals Ltd. (TSXV: AVU)
sank 18% to $0.255 as the resource junior reported drill results for Holes SLV
005 and SLV006 at the Slivovo prospect in Kosovo, which included a 12-meter
intercept of 12.2 g/t gold and 8.02 g/t silver at a depth of 27.40 to 39.40
meters. The company CEO, though, admitted that the gold results in SLV006 were “not
as outstanding as those of SLV004 and SLV005.”
Aquila Resources Inc. (TSX: AQA),
meanwhile, said it has entered into an exclusivity agreement with Orion Mine
Finance on a multi-level financing transaction that will include a private
placement and a silver stream for total funding of US$20.75 million. Aquila
Resources stock moved up 18% to $0.13 following the announcement.
In
addition, Dalradian Resources Inc. (TSX: DNA)
shares rose 14% to $0.99 after the Northern Ireland gold project developer announced
that it has arranged for Ross Beaty to make an investment of C$11,300,400 into
the company by way of a non-brokered private placement at a price of C$0.90 per
unit. Upon closing of the private placement, Mr. Beaty will own approximately
9.9% of Dalradian’s issued and outstanding common shares.
Finally,
shares of CardioComm Solutions, Inc.
(TSX: V.EKG)
continued to move higher Tuesday, up 11% to $0.05. On Monday, shares of the
medical provider of electrocardiogram acquisition and management software
solutions powered 29% higher after the company said it has received clearance
from the Australian Department of Health, Therapeutics Goods Administration for
the sale and marketing of its hand-held ECG monitoring devices known as the
HeartCheck ECG PEN, the HeartCheck ECG Monitor and GEMS Home in Australia.
