Kalimantan Gold Corporation Limited (TSXV: KLG)
shares shot up 50% to $0.045 on Wednesday after the resource junior said it has
signed a non-binding letter of intent with Tigers Realm Copper Pty Ltd., a
private Australian corporation, to purchase Tigers’ interest in the Beutong
copper-gold project, Sumatra, Indonesia, in consideration for 171,407,156 KLG
common shares and 14,675,000 KLG share purchase warrants.
As well,
shares of Tweed Marijuana Inc. (TSXV: TWD)
fell 13% to $2.49 as the medical marijuana grower reported third-quarter sales
of $316,117 and a net loss of $2,376,592 for the period.
Avivagen Inc. (TSXV: VIV),
meanwhile, revealed that a leading scientific publication published results of
a study of the utility and mechanisms of OxC-beta, a fundamentally new natural
alternative to the use of antibiotics in livestock feeds. The company added
that it believes this independent research and resulting publication provide
additional evidence supporting the discoveries made by its scientists and
collaborators concerning aspects of the chemistry and biological activity of
the family of 600 carotenoids, including common health supplements such as
ss-carotene, astaxanthin, canthaxanthin, lutein and lycopene. Avivagen stock
popped 17% to $0.07 following its revelation.
Finally, Sprylogics International Corp. (TSXV: SPY)
shares rose 9% to $0.60 after the technology provider of local mobile search,
semantic search and messaging solutions for consumers and businesses announced a
partnership agreement with iHeartMedia to launch Sprylogic’s new app, Breaking
Sports, through iHeartMedia’s FOX Sports Radio Network.
