Patients are now able watch many more television channels or even surf the Internet while they’re stuck in bed. As well, hospital staff have the ability to better co-ordinate patient care electronically – creating cost-savings efficiencies and reducing the possibility of medical errors. Extenway has been growing its sales revenue and now has more than 5,000 bedside terminals installed, or selected to be installed, in 20 hospitals in the two largest Canadian provinces.
