A services contract gave life to a beaten-down software play Monday, while a court ruling clouded a resource junior. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Monday, February 22, 2016 (as of 4 pm EST):

RKN logoRedknee Solutions Inc. (TSX: RKN) shares jumped 15% to $1.72 on Monday after the provider of real-time monetization and subscriber management software announced the signing of a new multi-year expansion of services contract, including licenses, support and other consulting services, with Turk Telekom, a mobile operator in Turkey with over 17 million subscribers.

As well, shares of Great Lakes Graphite Inc. (TSXV: GLK) slipped 5% to $0.10 as the industrial minerals company said that the Ontario Superior Court of Justice ruled in favour of an injunctive relief brought forth by Ontario Graphite Ltd., involving non-compete agreements signed with two of Great Lakes Graphite’s senior management team.

Gatekeeper Systems Inc. (TSXV: GSI), meanwhile, reported that it has entered into a new contract with one of the largest school districts in the United States, to provide its solid state school bus video systems for special needs buses. The total contract value is approximately C$760,000. Gatekeeper Systems stock moved up 17% to $0.14 following the announcement.
